So 2010 has been a busy year, I've completed and graduated my Engineering Degree and can now look forward to the future. The summer bought 5 weeks of solid kiting, with a couple of weeks out in France meeting up with the Flexifoil guys then it was off to Gokova in Turkey.
October saw two Park Jams on the calender. The first hosted by Chris Burke took place on Hayling Island, little wind meant that it was out with the ski to hit the sliders and kicker on the Saturday. Sunday went off but the direction was off so it was a expression day. Had an amazing session landing my first Pete Rose and was stoked to take 3rd place at the event, coming in behind Sam Light and Chris.

The second Rhosneigr Park Jam hosted by Ben Todd went off! The new feature this year was an insane rooftop,  sick location with beach house party venue. Friday saw some insane winds, the direction made it gusty but still got in some good hits. Friday evening the wind dropped so it was out with the RedBull Jetski, it got well used the next couple of days as the wind failed to appear. It was an incredible weekend. I can in 2nd place with James Boulding taking first and Luke Whiteside 3rd. See the links below for event reports, stoked with the big pic on the RedBull site. Much love to Toddy for another outstanding event already looking forward to next years.
Whilst in Turkey Freddie Oldfield and myself started planning the first Student Slider Jam as part of the SKA national series, which came to fruition early November. It was an amazing event with some serious sliders curtsy of Kitemare Company. Thanks to all who supported the event. Big hand to Flexifoil, ExPix and Freddie especially. Full event report here
