So last weekend we headed to WMSki cable with Plymouth University Wakeboard Club. We travelled up Friday night and stayed in some less than student like accommodation we managed to get cheap next to the cable.

Saturday was sunny but still very cold. John Matthew's (fellow BKSA competitor and keen videographer) very kindly offered to make the first edit of me and made the trip from Hunstanton in the morning to get some more footage. The cable opened at 12 and managed to get some riding in before the light turned bad. Got some good presses and 3's on the sliders and almost 270 backslide 3. Off the corners landing krypts, raily to blind, blind judges and back to toe didn’t push quite as hard as I have been over the summer as the knee was still not quite 100%. Gemma had some good presses on the box and attempted her first raily, many of the others had never ridden cable before so there were lots of ups and downs, with people getting more and more confident throughout the day. A trip to the local hotels sauna in the evening sorted out the aching muscles and joints ready for the next day’s riding.

Sunday was miserable and raining; I didn’t ride but spent much of the day filming, hopefully have got enough to put together a small movie for the club guys. Gemma along with a couple of the others guys were back on the raily attempts. Most people rode till the light was gone then tired and aching we took to the road back to Plymouth.

John finished the edit today and the first ever movie of myself is ready! There are some bits from a couple of the comps over the summer and the rest is from last Saturdays filming! Let me know what you think. Enjoy!
